„Starokatolíci sú kresťania, ktorí žijú naplno a neobávajú sa toho, čo im môže pripadať nové a neznáme. Viera v ľudské schopnosti je výrazom viery v Božiu tvorivú moc, ktorá sa odráža v konkrétnom vývoji. Táto viera nám ale nezabraňuje kriticky skúmať niektoré nové aspekty rozvoja. A kľúčová otázka tákéhoto skúmania znie: „Je to naozaj pre dobro ľudskej dôstojnosti?“ To je kvalitatívna otázka; to je Božia otázka.“
